About Us
Shraddha Sanskar Parivar is an Ahmedabad-based community organisation dedicated to Jain values, spiritual growth and compassionate service. Established with the blessings of Acharya Shri Vijay Ratnachandrasurishwarji Maharaj, the Parivar brings together volunteers and families in a spirit of faith, discipline and selfless service.
Our work combines religious activities with care for the community and all living beings.
Sadharmik Bhakti
Supporting fellow members of the Jain community through the provision of groceries and essential supplies, with respect, warmth and dignity.
Medical Sahay
Providing medicines and medical assistance to those in need, particularly elderly people with limited financial means or family support.
Anukampa
Extending compassion beyond community boundaries through meals and food-grain assistance for people and families facing financial hardship.
Jivdaya
Caring for animals and birds through feeding, providing drinking water and placing bird shelters—putting the Jain principle of compassion for all living beings into practice.
Shaikshanik Sahay
Helping children continue their education through school-fee assistance and the distribution of notebooks and educational materials.
Sadhu-Sadhvi Vaiyavach
Serving Jain sadhus and sadhvis by providing daily necessities and assistance, with particular attention to elderly and ailing sadhu-sadhvi bhagwants.
Sanskar Shibirs
Organising religious and cultural camps for children, young people and families to nurture Jain values, strengthen faith and encourage their practice in everyday life.
Chovihar Chhath Saat Jatra
A key part of our work is organising the Chovihar Chhath Saat Jatra at Shatrunjay Giriraj, Palitana. Our volunteers and medical team support yatriks throughout this spiritual journey, with attention to their care, coordination and religious observances.
